Surprise booking

For the first time in ages, I went away for a night and had two requests for bookings to start on the same day. I hadn't taken my laptop and couldn't recall the password for the log in to this site so had to say please wait until I get home, but advised if we have a booking through another site I can't do anything about it.

The first request was from a mother and daughter wanting 3 nights, the second 4 nights. As a five day booking came in before I got home, I offered the first people to call a one off a two night stay, I also spoke with the person wanting four nights and what a lovely chat, but we couldn't help them. 

I'm not sure why I offered a two night stay and obviously had to charge a premium as the cleaning washing and ironing time are the same as our four night minimum peak holiday stay, but great guests.  When you see their review it made me so glad we accepted the booking. 

I can now access the website from my phone and if you want a 2 day stay, perhaps it's worth calling - but please note we will not do the 2 day stay at the nightly charge price.
